Harmanus Welch incoming correspondence, 1829-1833.

A collection of letters, all sent to Harmanus M. Welch of Bristol, Connecticut. The first portion was sent by Henry William Sage of Ithaca, New York. A set of more light-hearted letters, including one addressed to Welch as "Secretary of the Bachelor's Club," was sent from Palmyra, New York. Thomas Bishop wrote to Welch from Perrysville, Indiana, where he found plenty of economic opportunity.
